The Brief
Churros Chariot was created to bring a bold taste of Mexican tradition to the streets, blending the richness of heritage with the vibrancy of a modern food truck. The mission was to craft a brand that celebrated the unique flavours of sustainably sourced cacao, transformed on-site into exquisite homemade chocolate dips.
Every element of the branding needed to capture the essence of Mexico—its flavours, its culture, and its undeniable flair—while creating a standout
experience in the casual dining scene.
The Solution
To bring the spirit of Mexico to life, the branding combined rich tradition with playful, contemporary design. The rustic-style logo, inspired by the texture of crispy churros, evokes the authenticity of handmade, flavourful creations.
A vibrant, festive colour palette—rooted in Mexican patterns and cultural motifs—adds energy and excitement, ensuring the brand feels as dynamic as the flavours it represents.
The highlight of the project was designing the custom Mayan mask illustrations for each flavour. Each mask was a nod to the artistry and heritage of Mexico, pairing tradition with a modern twist to create a unique identity for every dip.
This storytelling approach helped turn each flavour into more than just a menu
item, it became part of the cultural experience.
